Are people willing to pay more for renewables? The evidence is mixed. Higher electricity costs have negative effects on Vermont businesses. Meanwhile, many people say they are willing to pay more for renewable power, but few actually choose to pay more. Only 2 percent of CVPS customers - 3,300 customers out of 160,000 - have chosen to purchase more expensive, renewable “Cow Power”--power produced by methane from waste digesters on dairy farms.

Let me get this straight.... they surveyed only 700 out of 650k (State population), and that is supposed to represent what people want? What a crock!

Watch what happens to Germany this winter.

Their accelerated move to "renewables" - wind and solar, will not be enough. They are now preparing to burn more brown coal than they have in years. They are worried about their survival.

France is OK... they have historically favored Nuclear Power and they lead the EU in this regard.
